About Scott & Hollie
Hollie was not always a dog person, while Scott grew up around dogs his entire life. They were introduced to American Bullies and American Pit Bull Terriers through friends who bred them, but their appreciation for the breeds deepened after Scott’s cousin was injured in a dirt bike accident and received an exceptionally attentive American Pit Bull Terrier.
After 13 years of marriage, Hollie and Scott decided to bring home their first dog. Now married for 23 years, they have become deeply involved in the dog-sport community.
Hollie has worked as a mathematics teacher for 26 years and volunteers with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County’s 4-H dog obedience program. She is also an Ultimate Air Dogs dock-diving judge, an ADBA Top Dog Athletic Event judge, and secretary of the ADBA Empire State Working Dog Club.
Scott has worked in construction, including labor and heavy-equipment operation, for 26 years. He enjoys supporting fellow competitors, frequently holding dogs for handlers at dock-diving events and helping with ADBA Empire State Working Dog Club competitions.
