How much should I feed, and how long will a bag last?
How much per day
Feed the amount in the feeding guide printed on the bag for your dog’s weight, split into two meals. Every guide uses a standard 8 oz measuring cup. Because Bully Max is calorie-dense (415–600 kcal per cup depending on the formula), the daily amount is usually less than you fed before; a 50 lb dog on 30/20 Chicken eats about 2½ cups a day. Each product page has a calculator that does this for your dog’s weight.
How long a bag lasts
Dry kibble runs about 4 cups per pound, so days per bag = (bag pounds × 4) ÷ cups per day. For that 50 lb dog, a 40 lb bag of 30/20 Chicken lasts about 64 days and a 15 lb bag about 24 days. Every bag size on the product page shows “lasts about N days” for the weight you pick, and Subscribe & Save pre-sets the delivery schedule to match.
Switching from another food
Mix Bully Max into the current food over 7–10 days, increasing the Bully Max share each day. Going slower is the easiest way to avoid loose stools. Give any new food a full bag at the feeding-guide amount before you judge it.
Storage
Keep the bag zipped or in an airtight container, out of heat and sun, and buy the size your dog finishes in about a month so every meal is fresh. Colour, kibble size and smell can vary slightly from batch to batch because the food is made from real meat and grains; if a bag looks or smells wrong, message us with a photo and the lot number on the bag.
Feeding with Power Tabs or Vitality Chews
Yes, they go together. Feed the food at mealtimes and give Power Tabs or chews with a meal at the amount on its own label for your dog’s weight. They are supplements, not a replacement for the food.
