Can puppies eat Bully Max, and when do I switch to adult food?
Which food for a puppy
24/14 Puppy is our growth formula (419 kcal per cup, 24% protein, 14% fat) and can be fed from 4 weeks. It is complete and balanced for all life stages, including the growth of large-breed puppies, under AAFCO guidelines. 30/20 Beef also meets AAFCO profiles for all life stages and is the chicken-free option for a puppy that reacts to chicken.
How much to feed a puppy
Use the puppy feeding guide on the bag for your puppy’s current weight and split it into three meals until about 6 months, then two. Puppies grow fast, so re-check the amount every couple of weeks. The calculator on the product page does the math for the weight you enter.
When to switch to adult food
There is no rush. Because 24/14 Puppy is complete and balanced for all life stages you can keep feeding it into adulthood. Large breeds keep growing until roughly 12–24 months; when your vet says your dog has finished growing, move to 30/20 Chicken, 30/20 Beef or PRO 31/25 by mixing the new food in over 7–10 days.
Supplements for puppies
Puppy Tabs and the other supplements print their minimum age on the label; follow the label and ask your vet if you are unsure.
