Which Bully Max food is right for my dog?
All five dry foods are high-protein, high-calorie formulas made for pit bulls, bullies, Cane Corsos, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, German Shepherds and other large short-haired working breeds. Pick by what you want the food to do:
- Build muscle and hold a healthy weight: 30/20 Chicken: 535 kcal per cup, our most-fed formula.
- Chicken-sensitive dog, same goal: 30/20 Beef: chicken-free, 530 kcal per cup, complete and balanced for all life stages.
- Hard-gainer or working dog that needs weight and muscle fast: PRO 31/25: 600 kcal per cup, our highest-calorie formula.
- Puppy: 24/14 Puppy: 419 kcal per cup growth formula from 4 weeks, complete and balanced for all life stages including large-breed puppies.
- Weight control, lower fat or sensitive stomach: 25/11 Lamb: chicken-free, 415 kcal per cup, 11% fat.
Is it only for pit bulls?
No. It was built for pit bulls and American Bullies and is fed by owners of Cane Corsos, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, German Shepherds, Malinois, Frenchies and mixes. Every Bully Max food is suitable for large-breed dogs, including large-breed puppies, under AAFCO guidelines.
Grain-free? Chicken-free?
None of our foods is grain-free; they use rice and other grains for energy. 30/20 Beef and 25/11 Lamb contain no chicken at all, so they are the choice for a dog that reacts to chicken.
